Welcome Chef Michael Dawson to the Riverwood Test Kitchen!

Riverwood Sales is pleased and excited to announce the hiring of Michael Dawson. Chef Michael Dawson brings over 15 years of experience within the hospitality and food industry in BC. With a strong start in his hometown of White Rock, just outside of Vancouver, Chef Michael sharpened his kitchen skills at local cafes, bakeries, and diners while pursuing a Marketing Management Diploma.

Driven by his ever-increasing passion for food, Michael was keen to expand his knowledge after graduation by taking the Professional Culinary Arts and Advanced Pastry Diploma program at Dubrulle International Culinary Arts. He then advanced through the ranks with Westin Hotels and took on his next challenge learning the catering and mobile food truck business with Roaming Dragon and Vij’s Railway Express.

Chef Michael has completed his trades Qualification Examination and has gained extensive knowledge in the food industry over the years. Michael is excited to join the Riverwood Sales team and to build rewarding relationships with the Riverwood family of manufacturers, distributors, and our customer base.
